There are many ways to collect fishes, molluscs or mayflies in the wild.

For freshwater fish, there is also the option just to freeze the freshly collected materials and leave all the preservation task to the FREDIE team.
The vouchers must be stored in a collection which guarantees the access of external scientists and which sent vouchers to other scientists.
Vouchers collected by the FREDIE team or which can or shall not be stored elsewhere will be stored at ZFMK (fishes), MfN (molluscs) and Lausanne (mayflies).
